new pens/mini me

This is a small sketchbook, 2x3, I carried around with me last spring and over the summer while I was on the job doing field work and surveying, or at the doctor etc. if I couldn't find my moleskine. I have another one but it went through the dryer...

Got some new pens a few weeks ago..... thats right, I like to talk about pens and pencils.... My parents are so proud.
First, the classic, Hi-tec-C, consistant line, waterproof, lightfast, direct. Next is a Zebra pen that comes in a two pack with a really nice mechanical pencil, also wit ha metallic body, for only 3 dollars! find yours at your local bookstore. Lastly, the Pentel Slicci. wow. It was created by Pentel to actually compete with the Pilot Hi-tec-C, and it kicks it's butt! it comes in all the same widths as the Pilot, the tip is made much much more sturdier, the ink flows better, and you can get much more line variation with it. I'm a convert, no more Hi tec C for me, Pentel has
won. the only small downside is no rubber grip, but I forgot about that after 10 seconds of drawing..... This is so nerdy...
