A showing of Work

A special thanks to Heather Brown who had me show a bunch of work at The Courtyard, an outdoor venue that she runs and organizes, that opens up every First Friday and hosts artists and musicians. It was my first time being there and it was a blast. Lots of great music, got to meet some new faces and overall just got to enjoy the night. Right after finishing up the semester too (finally). I pasted paintings, drawings, a coke bottle and 35mm photographs and created my wall. Thanks to my friends who came out! it was great to see you!

I also hung 4 of my sketchbooks from the rafters. It was fun to see people flip through them.

Afterwards I headed to CousCous, Richmond's finest unique Mediterranean cuisine, with a few friends for celebration and merrymaking, while listening to DJ Modecai and Dj Skruff spin some old school jams. Was a good night indeed.
